Antonella Sberna

Speaker - Biography

Antonella Sberna is an Italian MEP. With a degree in Marketing, Consumption and Communication from IULM in Milan, she has gained professional experience at the European Parliament in Brussels, the Italian Consulate General in Los Angeles and in public administrations including the Senate of the Republic. Since July 16, 2024, he has held the position of Vice-President of the European Parliament, as a member of the Bureau, with delegations in particular on digital transformation, cybersecurity, equal opportunities, dialogue with local and regional authorities, the Western Balkans, Africa and ACP states. He is a member of the committees on regional development (REGI), housing crisis (HOUS - special committee) and participates in the Euro-Latin American delegations (DLAT); he is also an alternate in the ENVI committees (Environment, Climate, Food Security), relations with Palestine and Mercosur, and Union for the Mediterranean
