Antonio Gozzi

A graduate in Economics from the University of Genoa, with which he also worked for a long time as an associate professor, he has always been involved in activities and issues related to industry, energy and shipping.

Managing Director of Duferco until 2019, from November 2023, Antonio Gozzi is Vice Chairman of Duferco Participations Holding S.A., the main holding company of the Duferco group. He also served as chairman and CEO of Duferco Italia Holding S.p.A., the company that has organized the multinational group's Italian presence since 1995.

He is the President of "Federacciai" (Federation of Italian Steel Enterprises), a member of the General Council of "Confindustria" and the President's Council of "Confindustria" since May 2024, serving as Special Advisor to European Strategic Autonomy, Mattei Plan and Competitiveness.
He is an executive member of the Aspen Institute.
Engaged in economic, social and cultural promotion activities in the area of his residence - mainly Chiavari and Tigullio - he has dedicated the past 10 years to the promotion of youth sports through the Virtus Entella football club, whose first team currently plays in the National Standard B league.
Virtus Entella's youth sector currently engages nearly 500 boys between the ages of 6 and 16 who, in the club's structure, also find technical-sport training in addition to school support and health care.
