Claudio Dordi

Speaker - Biography

Claudio Dordi is Team Leader of the Technical Assistance of the EU-Vietnam Multilateral Trade Assistance Project and Professor of International Law as well as former Director of the Doctorate in International Law and Economics at Bocconi University of Milan. As part of EU-MUTRAP, he has led a task force of more than six hundred experts since 2008 with the goal of promoting Vietnam's integration into the global economic, trade and investment community.

He was a Visiting Professorial Fellow at Georgetown Law School in 2002 and 2003, as well as at several universities in South America, Europe and Asia. Throughout his career he has often combined academic work with applied research, working with major international organizations, including GATT (later WTO), World Bank, IMF, UNCTAD, WCO, EU and APEC.

Professor Dordi is the author of more than eighty publications, mainly on international law and economics, European Union law and economics, world trade law, and monetary law.
