Fabrizio Marrella

Speaker - Biography

Full Professor of International Law and European Union Law, he is serving at "Ca' Foscari" University of Venice, where he was Pro-rector of International Relations from 2020 to 2023.

He is a Cassation lawyer, expert in international arbitration, and author of numerous studies and monographs on the subject, including "International Trade Law" (3 ed., Padua, CEDAM-WKI, 2023) and "International Law" (5 ed., Milan, Giuffré-FLV, 2025). He is also co-editor of "Treatise on Commercial Law and Private International Law," ed. Giuffré Francis Lefebvre and has been a member of the Commercial Law and Practice, Anti-Corruption and Corporate Responsibility as well as Arbitration & ADR Commission of ICC Italy.

He is Profesor Honorario of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Campus of Human RIghts (headquarters in Venice).
