Stefan Pan, economist and entrepreneur, is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pan Surgelati Srl, a family business active in the food industry.
Throughout his career, he has held numerous positions in academia and associations, including serving on the Scientific Committee of UMIT (University of Health and Life Sciences, Austria) and as President of Confindustria Alto Adige from 2011 to 2017. He was also Regional President of Confindustria Trentino-South Tyrol from 2012 to 2019 and a member of the General Council of Confindustria since 2011, consolidating a prominent position in the Italian Confindustria system.
At the national level, he served from 2016 to 2020 as Vice President of Confindustria with responsibility for regional representations and, since 2020, as President's Delegate for Europe, actively contributing to the dialogue between the Italian industrial system and EU institutions. He also served on the Chamber Council of the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors of Villa Vigoni, an Italian-German center for European dialogue.
Since 2022 he has been vice president of Business Europe, the leading organization representing European companies. In this role, Pan promotes industrial policies and development strategies at the continental level, strengthening Italy's role in European decision-making processes and advocating an agenda oriented toward innovation, sustainability and competitiveness of the European production system.
