Antonio Gozzi

Speaker - Biography

As Special Advisor to the President of Confindustria on European Strategic Autonomy, the Mattei Plan, and Competitiveness, he is one of the leading figures in the Italian industrial sector.

He is a member of the General Council of Confindustria, where he helps develop industrial and economic policy strategies to support the competitiveness of the Italian manufacturing sector.

He is also President of Federacciai, the Federation of Italian Steel Companies, and has extensive experience in the industrial, energy, logistics, and shipping sectors, having held key positions throughout his career within the Duferco Group, where he currently serves as Vice President of Duferco Participations Holding S.A.

He also serves as Chairman of Interconnector Energy Italia, the consortium that brings together Italy’s leading energy-intensive companies, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Aspen Institute Italia.

In May 2026, he was named a Knight of Labor by the President of the Republic.
