From 2006 to 2008 Councillor for Budget and Heritage of the Municipality of Trieste;
From 2008 to 2013 Regional Councillor for Economic and Financial Resources, Heritage and General Services of Friuli Venezia Giulia with delegations for Environment, Energy and Mountain Policies;
From 2013 to 2018 elected in the 17th Legislature to the Chamber of Deputies in the Friuli Venezia Giulia constituency, Group Leader of the VI Commission (Finance) and member of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on the Banking and Financial System;
From 2018 to 2022 elected in the XVIII Legislature to the Chamber of Deputies in the Friuli Venezia Giulia constituency, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Uninominal Electoral College 04 - Codroipo, member of the XIII Commission (Agriculture) and of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the phenomenon of mafias and other criminal associations, including foreign ones;
Since November 3, 2021 councillor for territorial policies of the Municipality of Trieste.
