Tânia Carvalhais Pereira

Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Programs in Customs Law at Católica, Lisbon School of Law

Lecturer of Tax and Customs Law on various masters and postgraduate programs in Portugal, Cape Verde and Angola. Member of the International Network of Customs Universities and the International Customs Law Academy. Among her publications, one can highlight books about tax arbitration and customs law.

Head of Tax at CAAD – Centre for Administrative and Tax Arbitration. In this capacity, she is also a coordinator of the Tax Arbitration Journal.

Recognized as Women in Tax Leaders by the International Tax Review since 2015. On top of her lecturing activities, she has participated in various research projects within the Institute for European Studies, in Brussels, the research group “Improving Cross-Border Dispute Resolution: VAT and Disputes”, at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law, in Vienna, and the Global Dynamics of Social Policy, in Bremen, among other institutions.

She has been collaborating in the training of Tax Jurisdiction Judges, provided by the Portuguese Judiciary School, since 2014.
